Summer brings sunshine, trip strategies, and outside experiences to the Bay Area. However, for several families in our communities, the warmer months also bring increased food insecurity. While college dish programs pause and utility expenses increase with air conditioning expenses, regional food banks face their biggest challenges of the year.
